Ennis Montana
In the heart of southwest Montana, Ennis (pop. 860) in Madison County is a hub for surrounding communities and visitors to our area. Dozens of businesses provide support services for residents and tourists including a new emergency care clinic and hospital, groceries, gas, auto repair, library, movie theater, restaurants and lodging.
Area Schools
Our schools serve grades K-12 with separate grade school, junior high and high school. Our sports teams compete in Class C and the mascot is the Ennis Mustangs. For more school information contact the district office at 406 682-4258.
Economy and Business
Ranching, tourism, construction and mining are the major components of our local economy. Ennis also has a strong network of community organizations and churches providing support to our citizens including the Lions' Club Park and the GFWC Nearly New.

Mad River Adventures
Mad River Adventures is a licensed outfitter serving fishing clients on Southwestern Montana rivers looking for a relaxed and professional float trip experience. Similar to other outfitters we offer half-day and full-day river floats, but with over 17 years experience on the Madison River we are able to customize the float to individual skill levels and vacation expectations.
